(Re)Discover your Seasonal Veg – LEEKS [EN]

Welcome to the Leeks workshop!

Do you also quickly get bored of leeks? Never knowing what else to make with them apart from soups and maybe a pie?

Then look no further! This workshop will definitely make you fall back in love with leeks! 😉

During the 3-4h workshop, you will (re)discover this very common vegetable and its nutritional benefits, learn that all parts are edible (yep, roots and greens too!) and how to prepare none less than 5 recipes with just 1 leek and with that create a delicious 3-course meal: that is a starter, main course AND a dessert!

And as nobody likes to go home empty handed, you’ll go home with a preparation to devour at home and a booklet including all the information shared during the workshop, the plated recipes, zero-kitchenwaste tips and many more recipe ideas!

What to expect:
You will be welcomed with a little snack and drink while you get comfortable and you hear all about the star veggie of the evening and the recipes we will cook together:
– Starter/aperitif: Fried leek roots and leek greens dip
– Main dish: Creamy lemonny leek and coconut spaghetti
– Dessert: Leek and pear tarte tatin
– 1 surprise preparation to bring home with you
After all the cooking is done, we’ll sit down to enjoy the delicious meal we prepared.

Language:
This workshop will be given in English.
(but with the possibility of translating in French or Dutch here and there).

Eat Pretty Be Happy is offering the fair price system for the launch of the workshops.
This gives each one a chance for to participate to the workshop depending on their available budget.
More information on the way this system works will be given to you in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations are accepted when noticed at least 7 days before the date of the workshop. In this case, the customer will be refunded.
In between 7 and 3 days before the workshop, the customer will not be refundend, but can change his ticket to another workshop at another date.
Any cancellation under 3 days before the workshop will not be refunded, nor exchanged.
